This past weekend was my husbands 1/2 birthday. Our birthdays are 4 days apart and he got me a huge cake from Costco for my birthday so by the time his birthday came along, we still had a lot of leftover cake and decided to eat that. Well I felt bad for doing that, especially since I make cakes for everyone else AND he was turning the big 3-0! So I decided to make him a half of a cake for his 1/2 birthday! We had a good laugh about it! Everyone thought I literally cut the cake in half but I actually decorated the cake on purpose this way. :) Dr. Pepper cake layers with Dr. Pepper and chocolate buttercream!
