For Christmas, my husband bought me a class at Cooking at Millie's in downtown Louisville to make macaroons! It was such a fun surprise and an added bonus that my good friend came with me! My husband was traveling for work the week of the class so he coordinated babysitting as well, which was so nice to have a little break doing something I love. I learned some fun new tricks and got a tried and true recipe that the chef uses. We made mini macaroons with chocolate ganache buttercream. So yummy! I love their classes and hope to go back to more classes soon!
