My husband has been asking me for a Dr. Pepper flavored cake for a long time now! I felt so bad because I kept putting it off but this Father's Day I wanted to surprise him so I made this Dr. Pepper Chocolate Cake. It was so delicious and the cake layers were so moist! To be honest, I didn't taste a whole lot of Dr. Pepper, just a hint of it. The chocolate flavor was more prominent but just some minor tweaking for next time.
I knew there was no way we were going to finish this cake so I cut some slices for my family who lives close and my brother mentioned that he doesn't usually prefer chocolate cake, but it was the best he's ever tasted!
